APPV, APPVngd
- APPV, APPVngd are flat wires with aluminum conductors, PVC insulation, and of a zip cord type.
- They are designed for electrical installations with stationary laying in lighting and power networks, as well as for the installation of electrical equipment, machines, mechanisms and machine tools for a rated voltage of up to 450 V (for networks up to 450/750 V) with a frequency of up to 400 Hz or a constant voltage of up to 1000 V.
- They are used for construction, distributed and lighting networks, connecting stationary consumers, performing hidden and outdoor wiring in residential and industrial construction.
- The wires are used only for rigid and fixed installation of electrical circuits. In case of external wiring, it is necessary to use trays, conduits, wiring ducts that protect the wire from mechanical damage and ultraviolet radiation.

APPV, APPVngd are flat wires with aluminum conductors, PVC insulation and of a zip cord type. They are designed for electrical installations with stationary installation in lighting and power networks. They are also intended for the installation of electrical equipment, machines, mechanisms and machine tools for a rated voltage of up to 450 V (for networks up to 450/750 V) with a frequency of up to 400 Hz or a constant voltage of up to 1000 V.
Applicability scope
APPV is widely used in construction, for connecting stationary consumers, lighting devices, for performing hidden and outdoor wiring in residential and industrial premises. The wire is laid only stationary in flexible metal conduits, plastic cable ducts and voids of building structures. They are also used to connect industrial low-power electrical equipment.
Due to its flat shape, this brand of wire is actively used for laying in mini ducts and under plaster.
APPV is used only for rigid and fixed installation of electrical circuits. In case of external wiring, it is necessary to use trays, conduits and wiring ducts that protect the wire from mechanical damage and ultraviolet radiation.
APPV does not spread combustion in case of single laying.
Design
APPV structure consists of two or three aluminum single-wire conductors of the 1st flexibility class (class 1 of DSTU EN 60228). The conductors with a cross-section of 2.5 – 6.0 mm2 are laid in parallel, in one plane, protected by PVC insulation and separated by a tape base.
There is a type of the wire marked with the «ngd» index. APPVngd is made using PVC material that does not support combustion with the minimum possible emission of toxic gas and smoke when exposed to high temperatures. APPVngd is used in places with an increased likelihood of fire, crowded places, various equipment and material values, as well as in places with increased requirements for the fire safety of the facilities.
Operation
APPV and APPVngd work in the temperature range from -50°C to +70°C. The installation without preheating is allowed at a temperature not lower than -15°C. The permissible relative humidity is up to 100% at the temperature up to +35°С.
The minimum bend radius of APPV during installation is not less than 10 outer wire diameters.
Long-term permissible heating temperature of wire conductors during operation is +70°С.
The service life of the wires is 15 years. And the guaranteed service life is 2 years.
