(N)НХН FE180/E30, (N)НХН FE180/E90
- (N)HXH FE180/E30, (N)HXH FE180/E90 are halogen-free fire resistant power cables with copper cores, insulated with ceramic-forming silicone rubber and sheath made of halogen-free composition with low gas and smoke emission.
- They are designed for transmission and distribution of electrical energy in stationary installations, as well as for connection to stationary electrical devices, apparatus, assemblies of electrical switchgear for electrical networks with rated alternating voltage up to 0.6/1 kV.
- They are used for laying in rooms, tunnels and cable structures without a risk of mechanical damage, where it is necessary to ensure that the cable remains in good working order during a fire.
- They are used in places where it is necessary to eliminate the risk of material loss and loss of life, for example, in schools, hotels, hospitals. Due to the preservation of their functionality under the influence of open fire and the reduced formation of toxic gases, these cables guarantee the operability of lighting systems, ventilation, emergency power supply and other similar systems in the event of a fire.

E30 – cables for their ability to maintain the integrity of electrical circuits under standard temperature conditions correspond to Ek30 (4.7 of The National Standards of Ukraine 4809);
E90 – cables for their ability to maintain the integrity of electrical circuits under standard temperature conditions correspond to Ek90 (4.7 of The National Standards of Ukraine 4809);
J – in the designation of brands of cables with a grounding conductor (green-yellow color of conductor insulation);
О – in the designation of brands of cables with a neutral conductor (blue color of the conductor insulation);
RE – in the designation of cable brands, with round single-wire conductors;
RМ – in the designation of cable brands, with round multi-wire conductors;
FLEX – in the designation of cable brands, with round flexible stranded conductors.

(N)HXH FE180/E30, (N)HXH FE180/E90 are fire-resistant halogen-free power cables with copper conductors, ceramic-forming silicone rubber insulation and a halogen-free sheath with low gas and smoke emission.
Applicability scope
Fire-resistant halogen-free cables (N)НХН FE 180/E30, (N)НХН FE 180/E90 are intended for transmission and distribution of electricity in stationary electrical installations, for connecting electrical appliances, apparatus, assemblies of electrical switchgear for a rated alternating voltages of 0.6 and 1 kV with a frequency of 50 Hz. They are used at facilities with increased fire safety requirements to ensure the operability of electrical equipment, which is necessary for rescue operations during a fire (for example, when installing fire extinguishing pumping stations, fire warning and extinguishing systems, emergency lighting, elevators, ventilation and others) and in places of mass use (educational and medical institutions, hotels, train stations, airports, metro and others). They are used for laying in dry and damp rooms, flexible hoses, pipes, tunnels and other cable structures without the risk of mechanical damage and, if necessary, to ensure the operability of the cable during a fire.
Cables are classified as resistant to flame propagation, provided they are single-laid and when laid in bundles, and do not emit toxic gas and other harmful substances when exposed to fire.
Design
At the heart of the design of (N)НХН FE 180/E30, (N)НХН FE 180/E90 are copper round single-wire or multi-wire conductors of 1, 2 or 5 flexibility class of various cross-sections. Insulated conductors are stranded into a core. The insulation is made of a non-combustible composition – ceramic-forming silicone rubber, and the shell is made of halogen-free polymers. Such a sheath allows the cables not to sustain combustion for 30 minutes for cable (N)НХН FE 180/E30 or 90 minutes for cable (N)НХН FE 180/E90, and also emits a minimum amount of smoke and gas during a fire.

Operation
Operating temperature range of cables (N)НХН FE 180/E30, (N)НХН FE 180/E90 is in the range from -50°С to +50°С. The maximum permissible air humidity at which the cables perform their functions is 98% at a temperature of +35°С.
Installation of cables without preheating is permissible at a temperature not lower than -15°С.
The bending radius during installation is at least 10 outer cable diameters for single-conductor cables and 7.5 for multi-conductor cables.
The long-term permissible heating of conductors during operation should not exceed +90°С, in emergency mode +130°С, and in case of a short circuit +250°С.
The service life of the cables is 30 years. The guaranteed service life is 3 years.
