KGNV-M, KGNV-Mng, KGNV-Mngd
- KGNV-M, KGNV-Mng, KGNV-Mngd are flexible multi-conductors cables with the copper conductor, the PVC insulation and the sheath.
- They are designed for connection of mobile mechanisms to electrical networks for a rated alternating voltage of 600 V with a frequency of up to 400 Hz or a constant rated voltage of 1000 V.
- They are used in various industries, especially for connecting mobile and movable devices and apparatuses, when installing equipment in hard-to-reach conditions that require numerous cable bends.

KGNV-M is a kind of KGNV cable. By design, they are very similar, and the main difference lies in the field of their operation. So, KGNV is used as a power cable, and KGNV-M is used as a control cable. The latter is also capable of transmitting electric current, but it is mainly used to control the operation of equipment in hard-to-reach places.
KGNV-M, KGNV-Mng, KGNV-Mngd are flexible multi-conductors cables with a copper conductor, the PVC insulation and the sheath. Applicability scope
KGNV-M is used to connect mobile mechanisms and equipment to the power grid, as well as to transmit data about their condition in conditions requiring flexible connections. This cable is used is various industries.
KGNV-M is resistant to numerous bends resulting from frequent cable movements and can be used for moving devices and portable power tools. It is resistant to lubricating oils, gasoline, diesel and solar radiation, making it suitable for outdoor use. It also does not support combustion in case of a single laying.
There are varieties of this cable: KGNV-Mng with a PVC sheath of low flammability and KGNV-Mngd with a PVC sheath of low flammability and low smoke and gas emission. They are used in places where special fire-prevention measures and protection of people are required, can be laid in bundles.
Design
The design of the cable consists of several insulated stranded copper conductors of the 5th class of flexibility, round in shape (class 5 of the National Standards of Ukraine EN 60228). As a control cable, KGNV-M consists of 7 to 37 conductors of small cross-section, no more than 6 mm2. Each conductor is covered with a layer of PVC compound. The conductors are twisted and wound around the central conductor one or more times. Almost all of them have a common color, with the exception of the marker pair, which differs in color from each other and from the rest of the conductors in the layer. The cable sheath is made of special PVC compound, resistant to solar radiation, moisture, lubricating oils, diesel fuel, and temperature changes.

Operation
The operating temperature of KGNV-M is in the range from -40°С to +50°С. The installation without preheating is carried out at a temperature not lower than -15°C.
The installation and operating radius of the bend of the cable line must be at least 8 cable diameters, and the temperature of long-term heating must be +70°С.
Tensile forces on the cable should be no more than 19.6 N (2.0 kgf) per 1 mm2 of the total cross-section of all conductors.
KGNV-M, KGNV-Mng, KGNV-Mngd must be resistant to multiple bends at an angle of ± π/2 rad with a nominal tensile force of 49 N (5.0 kgf).
The service life of cables, provided the rules of operation are complied, is at least 4 years, but is not limited to it, and depends on the technical condition of the cable. The guaranteed service life is 6 months from the date of putting the cable into operation, but not later than 12 months from the date of manufacture.
