(N)HXСH FE180/E30, (N)HXСH FE180/E90
- (N)HXCH FE180/E30, (N)HXCH FE180/E90 are cables with copper conductors, ceramic-forming silicone rubber insulation, copper shield and a halogen-free sheath with low gas and smoke emission.
- They are designed for transmission and distribution of electrical energy in stationary installations, as well as for connection to stationary electrical devices, apparatus, assemblies of electrical switchgear for electrical networks with rated alternating voltage of up to 0.6/1 kV.
- They are used for laying in rooms, tunnels and cable structures without the danger of mechanical damage, where it is necessary to protect electrical circuits from the influence of external electric fields and it is necessary to ensure that the cable remains operational during a fire.
- They are used in places where it is necessary to exclude the risk of material loss and loss of life: educational and medical institutions, hotels, shopping centers and others. Due to the preservation of their functionality under the influence of open fire and the reduced formation of toxic gases, these cables guarantee the operability of lighting systems, ventilation, emergency power supply and other similar systems in the event of a fire.
Multi-conductor cable: 7,5 × outer diameter
operation: from -50°C to +50°C
(N) – manufactured in accordance with the German VDE standard;
HX – insulation made of non-combustible composition (ceramic-forming silicone rubber);
C – copper shield (winding with copper tape (foil), or in the form of a layers (braid) of copper wires or in the form of a copper concentric conductor);
H – sheath is fire-resistant, does not contain halogens (from a halogen-free composition with low gas and smoke emission);
FE180 – cables for their ability to maintain the integrity of the circuits under conditions of exposure to a flame whose temperature is not less than 750°С, comply with FE180 (4.8 of The National Standards of Ukraine 4809);
E30 – cables for their ability to maintain the integrity of electrical circuits under standard temperature conditions correspond to Ek30 (4.7 of The National Standards of Ukraine 4809);
E90 – cables for their ability to maintain the integrity of electrical circuits under standard temperature conditions correspond to Ek90 (4.7 of The National Standards of Ukraine 4809);
J – in the designation of brands of cables with a grounding conductor (green-yellow color of conductor insulation);
О – in the designation of brands of cables with a neutral conductor (blue color of the conductor insulation);
RE – in the designation of cable brands, with round single-wire conductors;
RМ – in the designation of cable brands, with round multi-wire conductors;
FLEX – in the designation of cable brands, with round flexible stranded conductors.

(N)HXCH FE180/E30, (N)HXCH FE180/E90 are cables with copper conductors, ceramic-forming silicone rubber insulation, copper shield and a halogen-free sheath with low gas and smoke emission.
Applicability scope
Flame-resistant halogen-free cables with a shield (N)HXCH FE180/E30, (N)HXCH FE180/E90 are a shielded analogue of cables (N)HXH FE180/E30, (N)HXH FE180/E90 and are intended for transmission and distribution of electrical energy in stationary installations, connection to stationary electrical devices, apparatuses, assemblies of electrical distribution devices for electrical networks with a rated alternating voltage of up to 0.6/1 kV.
They are used for laying in rooms, tunnels and cable structures without the danger of mechanical damage, where there is a need to protect electrical circuits from the influence of external electric fields and the need to ensure that the cable remains operational during a fire.
They are designed for use in places with increased fire hazard and special requirements to ensure the safety of people and material assets. In particular, in public buildings, power plants, educational institutions, hospitals, cultural and shopping and entertainment centers, cinemas, supermarkets, subways and other similar places. These cables retain their properties for 180 minutes when exposed to open fire, do not support combustion for 30 minutes – (N)HXCH FE180/E30 or 90 minutes – (N)HXCH FE180/E90 and emit a minimum amount of toxic gases in case of fire. Thanks to these properties, they ensure the functioning of electrical equipment, the operation of which is mandatory for carrying out rescue operations in case of fire: fire warning and extinguishing systems, emergency lighting power supply, ventilation and smoke valves.
Design
At the heart of the design of (N)HXCH FE180/E30, (N)HXCH FE180/E90 are copper round single-wire or stranded multi-wire conductors of 1, 2 or 5 flexibility class. The insulation is made of a non-combustible composition – color-coded ceramic-forming silicone rubber. And the shell is made of a halogen-free composition with low smoke and gas emission.
The protective shield is copper and can be made in the form of:
– winding with copper tape or foil;
– braid made of copper wires;
– copper concentric conductor.
Operation
(N)HXСH FE180/E30, (N)HXСH FE180/E90 are intended for stationary operation at ambient temperatures from -50°С to +50°С and a relative air humidity up to 98% at temperatures of up to +35°С, including for outdoor installation, provided that the cables are protected from direct sunlight.
Installation of cables without preheating is carried out at a temperature not lower than -15°С.
The bending radius during installation is at least 10 outer diameters of the cable for single-conductor cables and 7.5 for multi-conductors cables.
Long-term permissible heating of conductor cores during operation should not exceed +90°С, in emergency mode +130°С, and in case of short circuit +250°С.
The service life of the cables is 30 years. The guaranteed service life is 3 years.
