Applicability scope
Flame retardant shielded cables JE-H(St)H FE180/E30 …LG, JE-H(St)H FE180/E90 …LG, JE-H(St)H FE180/E30 …BD, JE-H(St)H FE180/E90 …BD are intended for transmission of low power electrical signals in signaling, communication and telecommunication systems at alternating voltage of up to 300 V at facilities with increased fire safety requirements. Used for stationary installation inside buildings and premises. They are flame retardant, halogen free and, thanks to the common shield, protect the data transmission circuits from external radio interference.
They are used as a control and connecting cable in control-measuring instruments, industrial electronics, computers, office equipment and information systems for the transmission of audio frequencies, data and electronic information.
In fire conditions, they remain operational for 30 or 90 minutes, do not emit corrosive and toxic gases and have a low level of smoke emission. Due to these properties, they are used in fire alarm, smoke removal and fire extinguishing systems in crowded places (metro, shopping centers, airports, train stations, hospitals and other similar places), where it is necessary to minimize human and material losses in the event of a fire. Such cables ensure the uninterrupted operation of emergency lighting, elevators, ventilation and other systems, the functioning of which is necessary for carrying out evacuation measures.
Design
The conductor JE-H(St)H FE180/E30 …LG (BD) and JE-H(St)H FE180/E90 …LG (BD) is made of copper with a diameter of 0.4 to 1.78 mm. Cables can be made using a pair of twisted insulated conductors (such cables are marked LG), and using bundle twisting (marked with the letters BD). The twisting ensures that the shape of the cable groups is retained during the manufacture and laying of the cable, gives it flexibility and reduces the mutual influence between the cable chains. The number of pairs or bundles in JE-H(St)H FE180 cables ranges from 1 to 32.
The overall shield is made of foil-clad aluminum film, the insulation is made of ceramic-forming silicone rubber, and the outer sheath is an orange-colored halogen-free compound.
This design allows cables of this brand to maintain the integrity of the insulation under direct exposure to flame for 180 minutes and maintain the operability of the connected equipment from 30 to 90 minutes.

Operation
JE-H(St)H FE180/E30 …LG, JE-H(St)H FE180/E90… LG, JE-H(St)H FE180/E30 …BD, JE-H(St)H FE180/E90 …BD are designed for operation at ambient temperatures from -30°C to +50°C and a maximum air humidity of 98% at temperatures up to +35°C.
Installation of cables without preheating is carried out at a temperature not lower than -15°С.
The minimum bending radius during installation must be at least 15 outer diameters.
The service life of the cables is 15 years. The guaranteed service life is 6 months.
