AVBbSHp
- AVBbSHp is a power cable with aluminum conductors, PVC insulation and the BbSHp-type protective sheath.
- It is designed for the transmission and distribution of electrical energy in stationary installations for a rated alternating voltage of 0.66; 1 kV with a frequency of 50 Hz.
- It is used for laying in earth trenches, rooms, tunnels, channels, mines (except for laying in blocks) and partially flooded structures with various corrosive conditions, as well as outdoors, if the cable is not subjected to significant tension strain, but if there is a risk of mechanical damage in during operation.
Multi-conductor cable: 7.5 x outer diameter
operation: from -50°С to +50°С
A – the conductor is made of aluminum;
V – PVC compound insulation;
B – the armor is in the form of steel galvanized bands;
b – without bedding under armor;
SHp – extruded protective hose made of light-stabilized polyethylene.

AVBbSHp is a power cable with aluminum conductors, PVC insulation and the BbSHp-type protective sheath. It is designed for the transmission and distribution of electrical energy in stationary installations for a rated alternating voltage of 0.66; 1 kV with a frequency of 50 Hz.
Applicability scope
The AVBbSHp cable is made with an additional protection in the form of armor, which protects it from the mechanical stress and ensures the long-term operation. It is mainly used for stationary laying of power grids in the ground and along the water bottoms, in tunnels, channels, mines (except for laying in blocks), partially flooded structures with various corrosive conditions. Moreover, it could be laid outdoor, if the cable is not subjected to significant tension strain, but if there is a risk of mechanical damage during operation.
The cable can be used for the installation in rooms with the increased risk of fire or flooding. It is fire-resistant in case of single laying while the group laying requires the use of fireproofing.
AVBbSHp is easy to install, it does not require conduits, trays and other elements of additional protection. It is not susceptible to damage in high humidity conditions and has anti-corrosion properties. It withstands temperature changes, high electrical and mechanical loads, as well as impacts with various hand tools during excavation work.
Design
The cable design is based on the aluminum conductors, single-wire of the 1st flexibility class or multi-wire of the 2d flexibility class, round or sector shape (class 1, 2 DSTU EN 60228). The conductors insulation and the inner sheath of AVBbSHp are made of PVC compound. The conductors are insulated and stranded into a core. The multi conductor cables have the color-coded or numerically coded insulation. The armor is made of two galvanized steel bands, and the protective sheath has the form of an extruded protective hose made of light-stabilized polyethylene.
Operation
AVBbSHp cable is designed for stationary operation at ambient temperatures from -50°C to +50°C and a relative humidity of up to 98% at temperatures up to +35°C. The laying without preheating is allowed at a temperature not lower than -15°C.
The minimum bend radius during installation must be at least 7.5 outer cable diameters for multi conductors cables and at least 10 outer cable diameters for single-conductor cables.
The long-term permissible temperature of the conductors heating during operation is +70°С, the maximum temperature in case of short-circuit currents is +160°С, and in an emergency mode not higher than +80°С.
The service life of the cable is at least 30 years. The guaranteed service life is 5 years.
