AKVBbSHv, AKVBbSHvng, AKVBbSHvngd
- AKVBbSHv, AKVBbSHvng, AKVBbSHvngd are armoured control cables with aluminum conductors, PVC compound insulation, armor of two galvanized steel bands and a PVC compound protective hose.
- They are designed for the fixed connection to electrical devices, apparatuses, terminal block jumpers of electrical switchgears with a rated alternating voltage up to 660 V, frequency up to 100 Hz or constant voltage up to 1000 V.
- They are used for laying in rooms, channels, tunnels, in the ground (in trenches), including in an aggressive environment and in places exposed to leakage currents, if the cable is not subjected to significant tension strain. They can be laid outdoors, provided they are protected from mechanical damage and exposure to direct sunlight.
- 25 years when laying in rooms, tunnels, channels
operation: from -50°С to +50°С
A – aluminum conductor;
K – control cable;

AKVBbSHv, AKVBbSHvng, AKVBbSHvngd are armoured control cables with aluminum conductors, PVC compound insulation, armor of two galvanized steel bands and a PVC compound protective hose. They are designed for the fixed connection to electrical devices, apparatuses, terminal block jumpers of electrical switchgears with a rated alternating voltage up to 660 V, a frequency up to 100 Hz or a constant voltage up to 1000 V.
Applicability scope
AKVBbSHv is used in various climatic conditions, it is resistant to temperature extremes, corrosion and precipitation. It can be used in places with high humidity, as well as in structures, industrial premises, tunnels and channels. The armor protects the cable from mechanical damage – shock, vibration, rodent bites. Due to this, AKVBbSHv is actively used for laying in earth trenches, as well as in places exposed to leakage currents, if it is not subjected to significant tension strain. The cable is not bend resistant, therefore it is not used in places where the strong tension is required. It can be laid outdoors, provided it is protected from mechanical damage and exposure to direct sunlight.
Design
The design of AKVBbSHv is based on an aluminum single-wire conductor of the 1st flexibility class (class 1 of DSTU EN 60288). Each conductor is insulated with PVC compound. The number of conductors varies from 4 to 37. The insulated conductors are stranded, the marker pair of conductors is distinctively colored or digitally marked. The armor is made of two galvanized steel bands. And the hermetic sheath is made in the form of a PVC compound protective hose.
In case of a single laying, AKVBbSHv does not spread combustion. At the same time, there are cable types with a PVC compound sheath of low flammability. They are marked with letter indices «ng» which means that such cable does not support combustion, and «ngd» – the cable does not support combustion and has reduced smoke and gas emission. AKVBbSHvng and AKVBbSHvngd can be used for bundle laying, in places where additional protection of cable circuits and special fire-prevention measures are required.
You can get more detailed information about the cable design from the experts of EUROPAN LLC, as well as advice on how to select the weight and diameter of the conductor, taking into account the load power.
Operation
AKVBbSHv, AKVBbSHvng, AKVBbSHvngd can be used at temperatures from -50°C to +50°C. At the same time, the installation without preheating is allowed at a temperature not lower than -7°C. The maximum permissible air humidity at which the cable remains sufficient is 98% at a temperature of +35°C.
The bend radius during laying is at least 10 outer cable diameters. In this case the armor completely covers the stranded conductors.
The maximum long-term permissible heating of conductors during operation should not exceed +70°С.
The correct installation and operation ensure the following service life of the cable:
at least 20 years when laying in the ground and on overpasses, provided they are protected from direct sunlight; and at least 25 years – when laying in rooms, tunnels and channels.
The guaranteed service life is 3 years.
