Updated voltage standard in Ukraine!
Since July 1, 2025, changes in voltage standards in electrical networks have come into force in Ukraine. According to the resolution of the National Energy and Utilities Regulatory Commission of April 15, 2025 No. 550 “On approval of Amendments to the Distribution Systems Code”, the nominal voltage is now:
230 V – in household single-phase networks;
400 V – in three-phase networks.
Thus, there is a transition from the previous indicators of 220/380 V to the updated European standards.
Requirements for electrical installations:
We remind you that the requirements for electrical installations are determined by the order of the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine No. 476 dated July 21, 2017 “Rules for the Installation of Electrical Installations” (PUE).
The document establishes standards for:
electrical installations of alternating current with a voltage of up to 750 kV;
DC electrical installations with voltage up to 1.5 kV
Compatibility of cable and wire products “EUROPAN”:
We, the Kiev cable plant “EUROPAN”, confirm the compliance of our products with the updated standards. In particular, the cable AVBbShv 1×50 can be used for long-term transmission of direct voltage up to 1500 V.
This means that the products of our production meet the requirements of modern networks and ensure:
reliable operation under high voltage conditions;
durability and safety of operation;
full compliance with current Ukrainian regulations and international standards.
EUROPAN LLC continues to manufacture cable and wire products that meet modern technical and regulatory requirements, guarantees reliability, safety and high quality in all areas of application.
