KGNV, KGNVng, KGNVngd<\/strong> <\/span>are flexible cables with copper conductors, PVC insulation and sheath.<\/p>\n Flexible cables KGNV are used mainly in manufacturing enterprises, in various industries, for connecting mobile and movable devices and apparatuses that require numerous cable bends, as well as for installing equipment in hard-to-reach places. It is not used for laying fixed networks.<\/p>\n Additional advantages of this brand of cable are resistance to the effects of lubricating oils, gasoline and diesel fuel, as well as to the influence of direct sunlight, which allows it to be used in open areas.<\/p>\n The cable is self-extinguishing in case of single laying.<\/p>\n There are modifications of the cable with a sheath made of PVC-compound of low flammability. So the KGNVng cable does not spread combustion, and KGNVngd does not spread combustion and has a low smoke and gas emission. They are used in conditions where special fire protection measures and protection of people are required, as well as in case of bundle laying. The design of KGNV, KGNVng, KGNVngd consists of one or several insulated stranded copper conductors of the 5th class of flexibility, round in shape (class 5 of the National Standards of Ukraine EN 60228). The number of conductors varies from 1 to 5. Each conductor is covered with a layer of PVC compound. The insulation and the sheath are made of PVC compound of different composition. The insulating compound has high electrical properties, and the sheath material is resistant to external influences. Insulated conductors are stranded together into a core with the correct twisting, which provides increased cable flexibility. The sheath is made of a special PVC compound resistant to solar radiation, moisture, lubricating oils, diesel fuel, and temperature extremes. The installation without preheating is allowed at temperatures not lower than -15\u00b0C.<\/p>\n The bend radius during installation and operation is not less than 8 cable diameters. Long-term permissible conductor heating temperature is +70\u00b0\u0421.<\/p>\n The tensile forces on the cable should be no more than 19.6 N (2.0 kgf) per 1 mm2<\/sup> of the total cross-section of all conductors.<\/p>\n The cables with a nominal cross-section of the main conductors up to 4 mm2 <\/sup>inclusive and the number of conductors from 2 to 5 inclusive must be resistant to multiple bends through a system of rollers under current load and withstand at least 30,000 bending cycles.<\/p>\n The cables with a nominal cross-section of the main conductors up to 4 mm2<\/sup> inclusive (single-conductor) and cables with a nominal cross-section of the main conductors of 6.0 mm2<\/sup> and more must be resistant to multiple bends at an angle of \u00b1 \u03c0\/2 rad at a nominal tensile force of 49 N (5.0 kgf).<\/p>\n The service life of KGNV is at least 4 years, but is not limited to it, and depends on the technical condition of the cable.
